Low Ratios

At Little Forest Montessori School, we keep child-to-adult ratios low and group sizes small, so every child gets the one-on-one attention they need from an adult attuned to their unique needs.

This kind of responsive caregiving is essential to a child's social and emotional development, physical well-being, and overall learning.

It also helps children feel safe and secure, while keeping everyone — children and adults alike — from feeling overwhelmed. With fewer children per adult, our teachers can watch closely, respond quickly, and give each child the attention they deserve.
